Slowly and cautiously I decided to venture out and see what I could
see. My shy nature was screaming at me to resist but it was giving me
no other real direction whatsoever. I left the bunk-house through the
double doors and into the pre-dawn cold. The loading dock immediately
outside the bunk house led off to the right and made a square corner
around the building with the ground down below yet too dark to see. As
I rounded that corner I peered to see if anyone was ahead and I could
see a few light bulbs hanging here and there in the distance gleaming
weakly a glow of yellow-orange. Otherwise things seemed completely
deserted.
