The membranous veil that traps my thoughts,
helps lead my inspirations astray,
that clouds the most obvious gems of my soul
and best written quips held at bay.

Does the cloudiness wane or increase with
the years,
does the goo get thicker in time,
when golden wisdoms have leaked away,
old age is surely the crime.

But what can be done, alas there is none,
I'll immerse in the old age of looniness fun.
I'll wet my pants and soak my shoes,
act goofy - old age - drive away the blues.

STAND BACK - lest you get some on you!

But,
remind me to vote. Vote come this fall.
With trepidation even the Nymphs will answer the call.
